Music theory is a practice musicians use to understand and interpret musical compositions. Similar to learning a new language, students will learn the language of music. Some of the fundamentals in music theory includes time signatures, rhythms, key signatures, intervals, chords, German, Italian etc…
The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) is an examination board that is globally recognized for a full spectrum of music exams for grades 1-8. Music theory exam is a requirement for all musical instruments for grade 5 and above prior taking instrument practical exams. All students MUST pass music theory exam to qualify for grade 5 and above practical exams.
Our ABRSM music theory exam prep is a 19-weeks compacted course specifically designed from the finest music theory specialist to cover ALL materials from grades 1-5 combined. Classes will be held on zoom weekly. We have helped countless students obtain great results on ABRSM grade 5 Music theory exam. we also offer unlimited one-on-one private sessions for additional help.
Students are not required to have any music theory knowledge to be qualified for this class. However, ability to read musical notes is necessary.
